Vive Studios Showcases AI Photo Booth ‘PLAY ON’ at the 15th Future ICT Forum

Vive Studios announced on the 1st that it participated in the 15th Future ICT Forum with its AI photo booth solution, PLAY ON.
This year’s Future ICT Forum, held at the Conrad Seoul Hotel, was co-hosted by Financial News and the Ministry of Science and ICT under the theme “AI Connects All: New Connections, Opportunities for Innovation.” The event featured speakers from leading AI-powered companies, including Minister of Science and ICT Lee Jong-ho, offering insights into the present and future of AI technology.
PLAY ON, developed by Vive Studios, is an AI-powered photo solution that allows users to transform their images into various character styles. It utilizes Stable Diffusion to generate images based on text inputs and Face Swap technology to alter facial features into desired styles or personas.

PLAY ON offers several shooting modes, including four types of ‘Play Toon’, which transform users’ appearances into cartoon styles, and five types of ‘AI Profile’, allowing users to take profile photos in various genders and professions. Users can create comic-style images of themselves in four different illustration styles, try out different gender identities, become an idol, or see themselves dressed in traditional Korean attire (hanbok).
At the Future ICT Forum, participants showed overwhelming interest in the PLAY ON booth. Many responded with excitement at seeing their faces instantly transformed into cartoon characters or idol-like personas through AI technology, calling it “fun” and “fascinating.”
One participant who tried the booth commented, “I’ve used photo booths in popular areas before, but PLAY ON felt very different and intriguing.” Another added, “I’ve only heard about AI through media, but experiencing it firsthand like this was truly amazing.”
