Vive Studios announced on the 26th that it participated in the 17th Korea-Japan-China Cultural Content Industry Forum.
The Korea-Japan-China Cultural Content Industry Forum, which began in 2002, is co-hosted by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The forum aims to promote policy exchange in the cultural content industry and strengthen cooperation networks between companies from the three countries.
This year’s forum was held from June 24 to 26 at the InterContinental Hangzhou Liangzhu Hotel in Hangzhou, China. Vive Studios CEO Kim Se-kyu was invited as an industry representative and attended the forum alongside government officials from Korea, Japan, and China.
The event began with a trilateral government meeting. Under the theme of "Digital Convergence," keynote speeches, thematic presentations, a joint declaration, and bilateral meetings were conducted. Discussions focused on the new phase of culture and tourism, revitalizing consumption, utilizing traditional culture intellectual property (IP), and developing new tourism IPs.
On the second day, June 25, a business exchange session and a tour of the Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) took place. CEO Kim participated in the business session, where he presented Vive Studios’ case and engaged with representatives from invited companies from each country.
During his presentation, CEO Kim introduced the company’s integrated virtual production solution "VIT (ViveStudios Immersive Technology)" and the AI photo booth "PlayOn," showcasing the company’s advanced video production technologies and the potential of photo booth and AI technologies.
"It is an honor to be invited to this forum as a representative of Korea," Kim stated during the event. "I hope this opportunity will contribute to the further development of the cultural content industry in Korea, Japan, and China."
