Vive Studios, an AI-based virtual production company, announced on the 11th that it has opened the flagship store for its AI photo booth brand ‘SnapAI’ in the Seongsu-dong area of Seoul.
SnapAI is a photo booth brand developed by Vive Studios that utilizes AI technology to offer a variety of ways to decorate photos taken in the booth. The name "SnapAI" combines the idea of a casual "snap" and AI-based photography.
SnapAI features advanced functions such as ‘PlayToon,’ which transforms photos into cartoon-style characters, ‘Caricature,’ which converts photos into stylized character illustrations, and ‘AI Profile,’ which creates customized profile photos in various environments and backgrounds.
Officially opened on the 8th, the SnapAI flagship store is located along Seoul Forest Road in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It operates from 11 AM to 9 PM on weekdays and until 10 PM on weekends. The three-story building houses SnapAI booths on the first and second floors, while the third floor is reserved for a self-photo studio.
On the first floor, users can access standard photo booth options such as Basic, PlayToon, Caricature, and AI Profile. The second floor offers themed photography zones including DJ, Miniature, and Supermarket concepts. The third floor features a professional-grade self-photo studio equipped with high-end photography gear for more polished shots.
To celebrate the opening, Vive Studios is hosting a variety of promotional events via its official social media channels, offering photo booth vouchers and discounts.
